Nancy’s Philosophy

Better nutrition is not about perfection.

At GI & Bariatric Nutrition Center, Nancy helps people find healthier, more sustainable ways of eating that fit their real lives. She understands that habits, emotions, stress, identity, and years of lived experience can all influence the choices people make around food.

Her work goes beyond food lists. Nancy helps patients recognize the patterns behind eating, practice realistic changes, and build the confidence to maintain them. That may include support for bariatric preparation and recovery, GI symptoms, medical nutrition concerns, emotional eating, or general health improvement.

When deeper behavioral support is useful, Nancy partners with Dawn O’Meally, LCSW-C, on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based education that helps participants examine self-talk, habits, and unhelpful patterns.

“Food is nourishment, culture, connection, and pleasure. The goal is to build a way of eating that supports your health without losing your life in the process.”
